Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This explains what personal information we collect on standingstrongin.uk, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short on purpose. We collect as little as we can.
1. Who is responsible
[Your legal or trading name], [country and address], is responsible for your information. Contact: hello@standingstrongin.uk.
2. What we collect and why
- Newsletter. Your email address, when you sign up. We use it to send the weekly letter and news about new work. We rely on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link.
- Purchases. When you buy a booklet, the payment platform collects your name, email and payment details to complete the sale. We receive the order details, such as which booklet and your email, so we can support you. We rely on the contract of sale.
- Messages. If you write to us, we keep your email and message so we can reply. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering you.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working.
3. Cookies and storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site saves your cart in your own browser (local storage) so it is still there when you return. You can clear it in your browser settings at any time.
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
4. Who handles your information
We use trusted services to run the site. They process information on our behalf or for their own purposes under their own policies:
- Cloudflare, for hosting the site and forwarding our email.
- [Newsletter provider], for the weekly letter.
- [Payment platform], for taking payment and delivering booklets.
We do not sell your information. Some of these services may handle data outside the UK. Where they do, they should use safeguards the law accepts.
5. How long we keep it
Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Order records are kept as long as needed for refunds, support and accounting. Messages are kept for as long as the conversation needs, then deleted.
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see your information, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how we use it, or receive a copy. You can withdraw consent at any time. Write to us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
7. Children
The site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
