Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms apply when you use standingstrongin.uk (the site) or buy anything from it. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
Standing Strong In is run by [Your legal or trading name], based in [country and address]. You can reach us at hello@standingstrongin.uk.
2. What the site offers
The site shares essays, music, videos and a weekly letter, and sells original digital booklets. Some content is free. Some pages are still being built, and we may change, pause or remove any part of the site at any time.
3. Education, not advice
Everything here is educational and personal reflection on Indian philosophy and practice. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it does not replace a qualified professional. If you are struggling, please speak to a doctor or a qualified therapist. In the UK, you can call Samaritans free on 116 123 at any time.
Any physical practice, such as yoga or breathwork, is done at your own risk. Stop if something hurts and take advice before starting if you have a health condition.
4. Buying booklets
- Booklets are digital downloads (PDF). Nothing is posted to you.
- Prices are shown on the site and the cart. Each booklet is paid for with its own Pay button, through a third-party payment platform. We do not see or store your card details.
- After payment you get a download link from the payment platform. If it does not arrive, write to us and we will sort it out.
- A booklet is for your own personal use. You may not copy, resell, share or publish it without our written permission.
5. Cancelling and refunds
If you live in the UK, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content this right ends once the download starts, because you agree to that when you buy. This does not affect your legal rights.
If a booklet is faulty, will not open, or is not as described, contact us. You are entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We will fix problems quickly and fairly.
6. Ownership
The writing, music, video, images, logo and design on this site belong to [Your legal or trading name] or are used with permission. You may share a link to any page. You may quote short extracts with credit and a link back. Anything beyond that needs our written permission.
7. Using the site properly
Please do not misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, copy it in bulk, or use it for anything unlawful or harmful.
8. Other websites
The site links to other services such as social networks, newsletter and payment platforms. They have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
9. Our responsibility
We take care over what we publish, but we cannot promise it is always complete, up to date or right for you. We are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow us to limit. Your statutory consumer rights stay in place.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes. If you live in another part of the UK, or elsewhere, you may also have rights under your local law.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms: hello@standingstrongin.uk.
